I will say that this place has a lot of bowls, wind chimes and such most a little on the high side but it IS Hawaii. The real turn off was getting embarrassed when I stepped on to a rug and was barked at about taking my shoes off. There was no sign or anything so I think there might be an an advantage to adding one.

When she realized that she had come across a little strong, she did ask very nicely if I was looking for something special; I told her that I needed another wooden mallet for a brass bowl. We started talking about crystal bowls and the different tones when another customer joined in, talking about her harmonic collection. Soon the clerk was so caught up with what the other customer, had my mallet and I were completely ignored.
15 minutes later when my friends were ready to leave and came to get me, I was so angry that I just left. I now realize that I should have handled it differently and been more assertive, but I had been so embarrassed at the beginning that I kept quiet. Hopefully with this review they will get a clue on how to handle things a little more professionally the next time.
