What an amazing place... Warm & graceful bunch of Jesus lovers impacting lives on Kauai...
Halloween : if you go to the neighborhood where it took place, you would have realized that the entire neighborhood (rich and less fortunate) have opened their doors to all the kids. Everybody participates in giving candies and most of people dresses in cute costumes. For instance, we dressed as the "Inside Out" characters from Disney movie.
You are quick to judge a church. You look at the negatives of an event, you point fingers at the pastors, and thus judge a community of worshippers.
Warm and friendly, lively contemporary service, nearly all expats. Nice touch with snacks and frozen drinks after service. Great speakers and music.
Let me help you see the positive, understand the goodness of the pastors, and the warmth of the community.

There was a zombie part at the end but not in the spirit you describe. There are no devil worshiping. I urge you not to distort people intention and judge the goodness of the pastors.

I am sure that during Christmas, the Christmas tree, gifts, and Santa had or have a big place in your home. I believe you don't worship them but you still celebrate.

I am sure that at your church, you have people participating in Halloween for the sake of the candies and the community and not because of the devil and what you want it to be. I don't like gory or zombies either but I know these people are good people and their heart are the right place.
