It's a Catholic Mass and that's what makes it 5 star. But the grounds are not to be missed. The parishioners are wonderful, welcoming people who epitomize both their culture and our Catholic faith beautifully.
Everyone was welcoming and very hospitable. The views from the open air church were remarkable. I encourage everyone to meander the grounds of this over 175 year old church grounds. I get the calmness and peace from this spot.
Very welcoming to tourists. Sunday Mass can be 90 minutes.
A walk around the grounds through the Stations of the Cross and a Lourdes-like grotto, give peace to the traveler.

The original church is quiet, with a beautiful white interior and true to the Mission style. The much larger new church is open and inviting, with fine woodwork many windows and amphitheatre style seating.
