Carlos was a dive master and underwater tour guide and he went above and beyond.
Had a wonderful trip with Tom and Carlos (dive master). Tried the twilight excursion with great success in both dives (Three Fingers + Sheraton Caverns). The night dive was spectacular, though a squall blew in while we were under and it was a torrential downpour upon our return. Probably shouldn't have gone out with such a major system on the horizon (lightening and all), but it was a fabulous experience and Kauai is always hard to predict!!! A big fan of the extremely short boat trips to the sites and the small groups.
Dove with this outfit on our vacation to Kauai. I'm a certified dive guide and so I notice issues instinctively, and I can say neither the captain nor the guide showed any. They made sure we were well informed/safe for both the dives and also made sure we had fun. I would highly recommend Fathom Five and will use them again in the future.
Tons of diving experience, small dive groups
The shore dive with Panda was awesome, she was very helpful and we felt safe diving with her after almost a year off, the boat dive was another story all together, we arrived at the marina only to stand awkwardly next to the boat for over a half hour while nothing really happened, then there was a half hearted discussion on safety that was continuously interrupted by both the boat captain and the dive instructor just trailing off in mid sentence. We had dove the day prior but they didn't have the correct size equipment laid out for anyone. This company could take a few notes from Big Island Divers who's operation runs super smoothly. Fathom Five staff were amazing! They helped us find the best dive site for our abilities and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

Malory did an excellent job with us! We were first time divers coming from a landlocked place (Ohio). But she welcomed us in, taught us throughly and well. She knew her species and her places in the Ocean. The company as a whole is very nice, easy going and relaxed and they all make sure your dive is experiential! I highly recommend diving or learning with Fathom Five!
