Had a great time with Kyle today, who's not only very good at showing me how to surf (first lesson, nailed it!) but also nice talks in the water!
My wife and I took a group lesson with Alan. Really good experience, we both got up on waves, and Alan is just an all around great guy and surfing instructor :)
I took the group lesson, which is perfect since you'll need time to get back on the surf. Never felt like i was waiting (the paddle out is tiring on the arms too, so a small pause is actually nice)
Alan was an awesome instructor and all-around nice guy! Working with Alan is possibly the biggest self-esteem booster I've ever had. He made us feel confident and got us surfing in no time. Many laughs were had, many waves were conquered. If someone from KSS sees this, please tell Alan that Jordana (NZ) and Ellen (Boston) say hi, and we hope he recovered his term paper! Cheers

Best experience I've had in Hawaii! These guys know what they're doing, and really know how to teach while you're out in the ocean with you - thanks so much to Doug and Alex! I will definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone remotely interested in surfing.
