I'd visited Kauai before & didn't think much of this place as the building isn't much to look at from the road. However, it intrigued me...what could be in this place that'd been here forever?! I was quite pleasantly surprised on my recent visit. A moderate to upscale souvenirs store with a bright, beautiful jewelry store attached. Be careful if you want locally made products though, many of the souvenirs are not. There are nice Hawaiian themed quilts, Hawaiian pattern pillow cases, and other cloth made items (which I haven't seen elsewhere on the island) as well as the typical tourist garments. The jewelry store is abundant & includes the unique & illusive Ni'ihau leis.
Beautiful shop with fantastic prices on wonderful souvenirs and jewelry. Someday I hope to be back to purchase from their Black Pearl jewelry collection.
Good prices and a decent selection of clothing, souvenirs and jewelry. Definitely worth a visit.
Not very friendly or courteous! So, we don't shop there because it's fake and very tourist-y. The manager/owner is such a grumpy old man who needs to learn how to live Kauai and chill!
