Great Rental Experience. Jimmy was informative and fitted our snorkel equipment to ensure a good experience in the water. His dogs at the shop are super cute! My girlfriend who is not comfortable in the water was offered a float noodle. It made her first snorkel experience comfortable. Thank you!!!

The old lady that was working there was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I would never go to this place again. There are many more rental places on the island besides going to Kimos and not being helped.
The owner wouldn't rent me a board unless I took surf lessons. I couldn't tell if he actually cared about my safety or if he was just being difficult. Either way he didn't seem to want to listen to what I had to say. I ended up being highly disappointed by the surf culture that I encountered in Kauai...people were not very encouraging and this place added to the discouragement I encountered. I gave it 2 stars because he did tell where I could rent a surf board from.
