As lovely as the property is, the attentive caring staff are the shining stars. The grounds are lush and meticulously maintained. Our room is spacious and affords a view of the pool and ocean.
There is not a single better hotel amongst ALL the islands of Hawaii. This place is as close to paradise as you can get. The staff is world class, the resort is literally on the ocean, the home restaurant, Red Salt, will blow your socks off, and the rooms are absolutely impeccable. I come here and here only when I am on Kauai. There's a reason why it's consistently voted a Top 5 Romantic Hotel in the United States every year. I will never tire of visiting Koa Kea.

The pool bar (and Erin especially) are phenomenal! I highly recommend walking in, even if you're staying at a neighboring resort.
