The location we picked come wedding day was less than optimal as there was a huge windstorm and we were all getting sandblasted. Frieda suggested we go up the road a few minutes to another spot she knew of. That spot ended up being amazing and so much better than the first one...and no wind!!
Freida was great! She really took the time to understand what my partner and I wanted in our ceremony. It was our first trip to Kauai and she gave us some great location suggestions. She even took some pictures of us so we wouldn't have to use our selfie stick. Thanks for everything Frieda!

She met with us a few days beforehand to gather some more information about us which she incorporated into the ceremony (a very nice touch) and gave us directions for a few locations to check out.
My now husband and I have decided to get married during our vacation in Kauai. I searched online for a wedding officiant and found Frieda and several other officiants offering similar services. Frieda's website was the most complete one, with in depth information. When I sent out emails requesting information, Frieda was the one who answered with tones of information and guidance on how to get the online registration etc. I felt comfortable with Frieda from our first email exchanges and decided to go with her. Suffice to say that this was a great decision. Everything went smoothly after that. Frieda helped us to make an appointment with the marriage agent and then to choose the beach location and our wedding photographer. Two days before our wedding she took the time to meet with us and go through our vows and details of the ceremony. The day before the ceremony she even emailed us to make other customized suggestions. it showed throughout the way that she cared about us and truly wanted to make our wedding ceremony special. Frieda and Liz (the photographer that Frieda recommended) have made our ceremony unforgettable and they are part of these wonderful memories forever.
Frieda was great! - friendly, well-humored, and she listened effectively to quickly understand what was important to us and help us make the day what we wanted it to be. She offered suggestions that were very helpful, and the few we declined were accepted with good grace - she always seemed intent on making things the way we preferred and not how others before us may have done things. She handled her end of the paperwork quickly and effectively. Everything she said she'd do - she did, no drama, no problems. And the bonus is she's just a lovely person - relaxed, friendly, with a sense of humor. Strongly recommend!
