I am an owner with a 2 bdroom Cottage on Hoona Rd. in Poipu. The Parrish Collection manages the property and their attention to detail is fabulous.Even when a small item needs attention, they send someone over immediately so as to not inconvenience our guests. Our home offers the Poipu Beach Club to ALL our guests and Simone and Staff are so knowledgeable about this advantage for our guests as well. We are very happy with our experience with the Parrish Collection.

This was the second time we stayed at Hale Ani. The location is great. Across the street is a beach. Then a little further more beach. The Lanai is wonderful to sit watch whales and turtles. We played cards, read and ate on the Lanai everyday. Loved it. It's in need of TLC. The Lanai floor, which is wood, is in need of fresh paint. The inside also needs some TLC. The hall bath doesn't give you the fresh and clean feeling. There was rust on the tub under the overflow drain and around the drain. I was able to get some of it off with A-Jax. The tub wasn't clean. The shower head made a horrible loud sound that hurts your ears. That happened last year. Parrish was told about it. The tile floor needs to be CLEANED. The sink faucets need to be replaced. Terrible condition. I had to wash the blanket and Quilt off our bed. Mold or Mildew on the blind in the small bedroom door. It's disappointing to be spending $650.00 a night and feel like you're staying at Motel 6. The living room is fine. The kitchen could use a good cleaning. It looks like the owner doesn't care about their house and Parrish doesn't have a good cleaning staff. It's a nice comfortable house. It's a shame to see it neglected and not cared for.

Parrish has been very good with our requests and customer service. They have never disappointed us.

Buyer Beware! Stay away from any Parrish property - they are putting full liability for the property on you (the guest). My experience was that this company purchased a luxury unit the week before we were due to arrive for a 10 day stay. Despite their assurance to the prior owners (and us) that they would honor all agreed terms and conditions, they sent a (two pages of fine print) new set of T&C with the threat that keys would be denied if we did not sign. When we pointed out what clauses were objectionable and conflicted with what was agreed to, they refused change them - and insisted we sign theirs or go away.

Parrish did this to us just days before we were due to arrive, for a reservation made/paid for 6 months in advance. We had $2,000 of airline tickets, $4,000 paid for the condo, and $ hundreds in prepaid Island activities.

PS - look at the other reviews and note that many of the positive reviews are by property owners who hire Parrish as property manager. What property owner wouldn't be pleased by having full liability shifted to the guest?

3. a complete "hold-harmless" for the management company for anything that would happen to the guest on or near the property - even if the Parrish knew something dangerous existed and didn't warn the guest. Even if Parrish broke the law or was negligent. No matter - fully held harmless with no recourse.

2. requirement that the guest accept all liability for the condo and its contents for the entirety of the stay - including for break-ins, acts of God, and other events beyond the control of the guest (fire, flood, etc).

I won’t name the outstanding on-line booking company that saved us from this – and made us more that whole – because I don’t want to associate them with such a negative review and a company as horrible as Parrish. Other than this inherited book of orders, Parrish does not list any properties with the booking company, and I can see why.

1. requirement that the guest purchase a damage insurance policy or pay a "$500 to $6,000 additional damage deposit".
