Best dinner of the week on the island. Wound up being thanksgiving dinner. Garlic crusted ahi was incredible.
If I could put zero stars I would. Terrible service, meat was raw, waited to get our bill way too long after meal was raw, said "spicy roasted potatoes" they were basically jojos that one would find at a deli connivence store...just all around BAD EVERYTHING. I never write reviews but I had to write - really disappointed. (maybe they were having an off night-but doubt it)
The food was 4 stars, but the service was amazi g. Kekoa our server was super enthusiastic and informative. We weill be back tomorrow morning for breakfast and hope to see him again! The atmosphere of the restaurant was great as well.
The staff at Lava's is awesome! The only reason we did not give 5 stars was due to inconsistency with the food! The first few days we ate there it was great but the next couple of days the food was so-so. Would also like to see some pasta and chicken dishes on the menu. The beachfront location is great! Views from pretty much every table!
While lavas is great for drinks and lunch around the pool, I would avoid it for dinner. It is over priced and the quality isn't that good. Don't be tricked by the 50% off food voucer you receive upon check-in, there are far better places to ear close by.
