The best beach for kids & snorkelling, calm, warm, clear waters soft sand picnic tables near by plenty of parking just a lovely family beach to go to for the day and take an underwater camera lots of fish to see.
Best snorkeling I found on Kaua'i. Safe for keiki (kids), enjoyable for adults. One afternoon a huge monk seal AND a sea turtle with a shell the size of your kitchen table both sunned themselves on the beach as people shot photos from a safe distance. Po'ipu is a good south-shore area to stay, too. Our condo was five minutes from the beach.
Been here 18 times since it is so amazing. You can surf, swim, snorkel, tan, shop, go out to restaurant and much, much more at this beautiful, fun beach!
