Great fresh seafood restaurant with excellent service. The MonChang fish was tender, light and "melt-in-your-mouth" good. Beautiful peaceful views from the tables.

I would come again ... and again! The next big thing is just the most amazing sushi I ever had!

Seafood tacos were decent, calamari was meh.

I'm giving this a 1 star because I couldn't even eat there. My husband and I are on our honeymoon. We went to the sushi bar at this restaurant right when they opened before it was busy. As soon as we sat down, we let the sushi chef know about my shellfish allergy and asked for a clean knife when making my roll. The chef rolled her eyes and sighed as if it was a big deal. She was then complaining to us about how she has to make rolls for the entire restaurant and it will be a pain when they start to get busy and she could not guarantee shellfish-free sushi to me. I felt so awkward and almost guilty that we left and found another sushi restaurant to eat at. We are from Seattle and go to sushi all the time and never have a problem asking the chef for a clean knife to minimize cross-contamination. The shellfish allergy is one of the most common allergies in adults today. A restaurant like The Dolphin, a high class and highly priced nice restaurant, should be able to accommodate simple allergies. I was so shocked at how unprofessional the chef acted, I was in tears when we left. Even if the chef did not want to risk serving me, she could have handled the situation with grace and professionalism. If you have any allergy, don't eat here, they are unwilling to accommodate you and will make you feel guilty for it. Again, at a restaurant of this scale, this is simply unacceptable. This chef and the restaurant she represents are a disgrace to talented and knowledgeable chefs worldwide.

Great atmosphere but not so friendly staff with small overpriced seafood portions.

We sat at the sushi bar, Reggie was our sushi master. Hats off... He did great! He was very attentive to our needs and particularly to my wife's dislikes. He did a great job and served us perfectly. I would recommend the fish market and the never frozen, fresh and locally caught seafood. The people are great and I would highly recommend it.
