Nice place to walk around and go through the various trails. Beautiful grounds and the shuttle driver was great and very informative. Lots of interesting plant life and very educational.
I would suggest the longer tour, which still seems short because of it’s impressive gardens and beautiful plants. The tour guides are very informative. They provide umbrellas, which are necessary most days. The garden tour is at a slow pace, and that is necessary with so much to take in. The different theme rooms, as they’re called, are some of the most amazing landscaping and architecture accompanied by beautiful sculpture, that I’ve ever seen. Tours are small and this allows for any question interaction you may have with the tour guide.
I went on the self-guided tour. The gardens were beautiful. There are a number of walks, each with its own theme. There's also a guided tour, but that was quite a bit more expensive. I would definitely recommend the self-guided and allowing enough time before the final shuttle leaves.
Have been here before, however this time we were NOT INFORMED when buying our tickets that the water features were not working. Als,o our bus did not leave for the gardens for 30 minutes after our appointed time.
Wow! We love botanical gardens, this one is right up there among the best. Tours are worthwhile for best information
